I tried the lucas oil additive and it seemed to make my ticking worse, and it happend more after getting some miles on it. Try switching to a good synthetic oil (i use royal purple), and flush out ur system. (use regular oil and a cheapie oil filter at first, drive for ~15 miles (30 mins) then drain and fill with synthetic. See if that works for you.
 NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
