| (specially when the hood is up), But, As for your problem I tried the lucas oil additive and it seemed to make my ticking worse, and it happend more after getting some miles on it. Try switching to a good synthetic oil (i use royal purple), and flush out ur system. (use regular oil and a cheapie oil filter at first, drive for ~15 miles (30 mins) then drain and fill with synthetic. See if that works for you.
